MALE ARRESTED FOR DRUG DRIVING

On 25/01/2026 at around 16:00 officers on patrol in Stonydelph conducted a search of two males and a vehicle in Edale following suspicions of drugs activity.

Both males were found in possession of cannabis with a small amount also found in the grey Jaguar.

A drugs swipe was conducted on the driver of the vehicle who tested positive for cannabis.

Both males, aged 26 and 27, from Tamworth, were dealt with by way of Community Resolution for possession of cannabis.

The driver was arrested for drug driving. He has since been released under investigation.
